The RT
is designed around the reliable 1/3N lithium battery which
gives it it's unique shape and size. With its longer battery
life and powerful signal, it was developed to be a primary
leg mount for larger shortwings and longwings (18oz birds and
up). The RT+ was the first of a new generation of transmitters
with a short, safe, half-length antenna, yet still puts out
more power than others still using long ones. It is also ideal
as a secondary (backup) transmitter to the PowerMax tail mount.
Features are now found in the RT+ never before available in
a falconry transmitter.
Each unit is burned-in for five days and Enviro-tested tested
from +150F down to -40F prior to shipping.

Weight (incl. battery) 7 g
Batteries Used: One 1632 Lthium 3v
Batteries Life: Approx 9 days
Mounting Method: Tail-mount or BackPack only
Antenna Length: 9.5 inches
Magnetic Switch: Yes
Low Battery Warning: Yes
Warranty: Three Years |
Originally
developed as the "ideal tail-mount," this transmitter
has a flat, tail-hugging design with an antenna so short it doesn't
extend beyond the deck feathers of the larger birds. Moreover,
it's designed so it can be left on the bird and simply turned
on or off with the tap of a magnet for daily use.
The PowerMax is now lower in overall weight,
puts out even more power yet runs even longer on the same 1632
lithium battery! It incorporates a new "fuel-gauge" type
of low battery indicator that uses both a timer and internal
voltage sensor. Accumulated run-time is now approximately 72
hours (instead of just 30) with another 4-5 days left to search
after the double-beep.
It's particularly ideal for those considering the BackPack Harness.
Birds as small as a Merlin have carried the PowerMax using the
new TrackPack Mount!
Each unit is burned-in for five days and Enviro-tested tested
from +150F down to -40F prior to shipping.

Weight (incl. battery) 3.5 g
Batteries Used: One 1225 Lithium 3v
Batteries Life: Approx 6 days
Mounting Method: Leg, tail, neck or BackPack
Antenna Length: 7.25 (tail), 9 inches (leg)
Magnetic Switch: Yes
Low Battery Warning: Yes

This
tiny transmitter is now the "Ideal Tail Mount" for
all sized birds. It weighs only 3.5 grams with the battery
yet is a high-power, long range design putting 1/3 the weight
on a single tail feather.
Unlike other transmitters using very small
batteries, the new Micro doesn't fade out or die in low temperature
situations. It is perfect for small specialty birds: Merlins,
sharp-shinned hawks and other extremely small raptors. You
can order it with a 'fine' or a 'medium' gauge antenna, depending
on intended use. The Micro also contains the magnetic 'tap
on/tap off' switch, a half-length 7-inch antenna with improved
power and efficiency over the old Micro.
Each unit is burned in for five days and Enviro-tested tested
from +150F down to -40F prior to shipping.
